The best way to explore Krakow Old Town is on foot. Our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and will take you on a tour around the Old Town to soak up Krakow’s famous atmosphere.
We’ll start from the Florian Gate, built around 1300 and then walk through Florianska street to the Old Market Square, the biggest of its kind in Europe.
Here, you can hear the bugle call played every full hour from the tower of St. Mary’s Church. Feel free to come in to admire the largest wooden Gothic altarpiece in the world.
Our next stop, the Sukiennice (Cloth Hall) are renowned for superb souvenirs such as amber, jewelry and local handicrafts.
Afterwards, following Grodzka street, you will head for the Wawel Hill where the Wawel Castle and the Cathedral are located.
Krakow is one of just six places in the world where you can admire a painting by master Leonardo da Vinci. His arguably most beautiful female portrait, The Lady with Ermine, is temporarily exhibited at the Wawel Castle.
We’ll finish the tour by visiting the famous Collegium Maius, the oldest university building in Poland. Afterwards you can enjoy exploring the charming Old Town on your own!
