Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby, for a 1-hour drive to the best-preserved Gothic town in Europe.
Torun, the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, is located on both banks of the Vistula river.
The city has the greatest wealth of Gothic architecture in Poland. And its medieval center with the original urban structure is registered on the UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List.
The city tour features the most splendid monuments like the Old Town Square and the Town Hall, the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus, the St John Cathedral, and the Copernicus House.
We will see the city walls and gates, the ruins of the Teutonic Knights' castle and the famous Crooked Tower. At the end of the tour our guide will take you to the Gingerbread Museum, when you may learn about the traditions of baking gingerbread and even take part in an interactive show (the show last 1 hour and 20 minutes). Don’t leave Torun without tasting some gingerbread!
